NYC1 - 111 8th Ave - telx
Built as a freight terminal in the 1930s, 111 8th has evolved into one of the world's most significant carrier hotels. Sitting over top of the 9th Ave fiber highway, customers have direct access to virtually every major data center in lower New York and New Jersey, as well as direct connectivity to Europe via trans-oceanic fiber. Over 40 leading global carriers service the numerous data centers within the building. Rhythmic offers a wide range of colocation, hosting and DIA services out of this flagship facility.
VNA1 - 7990 Science Applications Court - Equinix
Located in the heart of Northern Virginia, the Equinix facility is just a few blocks from the original MAE-East peering point. The data center was initially a PAIX.net peering point, providing one of the first telco-independent facilities for carriers to peer in. Situated between Ashburn and DC, the data center has access to a wide range of metro and DWDM fiber. With 40,000 gallons of on-site fuel and 5 generators, there is ample capacity for up to 30 days of runtime without refueling.
